Twitter in a post has said that “it is not necessary to follow each other with whom you intend to have a conversation”. In just a few clicks, anyone can create a group and receive timely popup notifications. With this workout, Twitter seems to be following the success of mobile messaging apps like WhatsApp which has made group messaging a fun experience.
Another new feature is a native mobile video sharing experience where a user can shoot, edit and share 30-second videos directly from the Twitter app using the camera button. This is a refreshing new addition along with the Vine service where six-second videos are often seen playing on loop. This also means that short videos will become increasingly frequent on your Twitter timeline soon. While camera uploads of up to 30 seconds are available only on the iOS platform currently, Twitter has promised that Android users will get the feature soon. With this feature, Twitter also seems set to capture the video advertising market. Twitter announced in its blog that the video feature will be released to all users in the next few weeks.
