There are 2 types of the Microsoft’s Notebooks one for educational purpose and the other is for consumer market. Both the new budget Microsoft’s Laptops will be powered by the Intel’s Bay Trail-T CR (BTCR) which is a low power processor and it will have a 11.6 inch display. The only difference here is that the model for educational market will be manufactured by Elitegroup Computer Systems’ (ECS) and it will be sold for around $179 /€165 through the education channel that Intel and ECS built for their Classmate PC products....

It looks like the U.S. software giant has gone a step further by quietly ending sale for both the Windows 7 Professional and Windows 8 licences, which now can no longer be purchased with a new PC. According to Microsoft’s rules, the company stopped selling Windows 7 Professional or any version of Windows 8.1 to retailers or OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) as of October 31. Other versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8, such as Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate were already no longer available for sale....

However, this weekend, Microsoft removed the just-released November update from the download page that it offers to the general public without any explanation. The users can now get the new version only from Windows Update. But, the MCT available for download from that page installs the July 2015 (build 10240) release instead. Responding to ZDNet’s Ed Bott story on the removal of the downloadable version of November update for Windows 10, Microsoft spokesperson replied by saying that the change is intentional: “The November update was originally available via the MCT tool, but we’ve decided that future installs should be through Windows Update....

To promote this feature, Microsoft has released a video titled ‘Welcome to Continuum for phones’ that illustrates how Continuum can be used on a Windows 10 Mobile to make it use like a PC (Windows Store apps only) when connected to a mouse, keyboard and external display. Thanks to the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) introduced with Windows 10. The video shows how Continuum works both via wired and wireless connections when paired with either the yet-to-be-released Microsoft Display Dock and currently available Wireless Display Adapter where the transition from phone to PC is almost seamless....
